2024 Gender Equality Report & Ranking – Emerging markets edition

The inaugural report presents the Top 20 companies in the emerging markets as well as key findings on gender equality.
- At 32%, the average gender equality score of companies in emerging markets is low (compared to 44% in developed markets)
- Just three companies have achieved gender balance (40-60% women) at all four levels
- Transparency on the gender pay gap outpaces the rate of disclosure in developed markets, with 38% of companies publishing enumerated gender pay data (compared to just 33% in developed markets). 14 companies in emerging markets have closed the gender pay gap (published a mean, unadjusted pay gap of +/-3% or less)
2024 Gender Equality Report & Ranking – Developed markets edition

The global report presents the Top 100 companies in the developed markets, insights per country and sector, as well as key findings on gender equality.
- Australian road operating company Transurban leads the global rankings, closely followed by Storebrand (Norway), Diageo (UK), National Grid (UK), and GPT Group (Australia)
- Only 32 out of 3,795 companies achieved gender balance at all levels, and only 41 companies have closed the gender pay gap
- Only 7% of CEOs are women, and 17% of companies have a female CFO
2023 Gender Equality Global Report & Ranking

The global report presents the Top 100 companies globally, insights per country and sector, as well as key findings on gender equality.
- Australian Mirvac ranks number one globally for a second year, followed by Diageo (UK) Medibank, (Australia) Allianz (Germany) and UBS (Switzerland)
- Only 28 companies globally (less than 1%) have closed the pay gap
- Just 18 companies globally achieve gender balance at all levels and just 6% have female CEOs
2022 Gender Equality in Asia-Pacific

- Australia is the best APAC market for gender equality at work

2020 Gender Equality in Spain, Italy and Greece
